Most Common Memorial Day Weekend Injuries

Memorial Day weekend is almost here, which means a nice long 3-day weekend for a lot of us here in Montana.

Unfortunately, these summer holiday weekends also tend to mean emergency rooms across the state get a whole lot busier.

Warm Weather Brings Out Risky Memorial Day Behavior

It feels like the second the weather warms up and Montanans come out of winter hibernation, the unofficial state motto becomes, “Hold my beer and watch this.”

One second something sounds like a great idea, and the next second somebody’s headed to the emergency room.

Doctors will tell you most of these accidents are completely preventable with a little common sense, but for whatever reason, common sense seems to disappear during holiday weekends.
